For the third year in a row, the Virginia-based consulting firm earns recognition for its people-first culture
The Alliance Group has once again been named one of The Washington Post’s 2025 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. This marks the third consecutive year the firm has received the honor, which is based entirely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey conducted by Energage, LLC. The survey measures key aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.
“For more than a decade, The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces list has served as an essential resource for D.C.-area professionals, equipping them with unparalleled insight into the best local companies to work for, as heard directly from their employees,” said Bronwen Latimer, the editor for Special Initiatives at The Washington Post. “This year we’ve highlighted 250 companies — more than ever before — giving a broader view of the employee experience across industries.”
“At the end of the day, culture is everything,” said Ed Barrow, Partner at Alliance. “We’ve built something special here by putting people at the center of every decision — from flexible work policies to how we grow our teams. Being named a Top Workplace again means the world because it’s our employees saying, ‘This is where I want to be.’ That kind of feedback drives us to keep raising the bar and making sure Alliance remains a place where people feel supported, challenged, and genuinely excited to come to work.”
The Washington Post hosted an awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 18 to recognize the top-ranked companies. To see the full list of honorees, visit [link].
About The Alliance Group
Alliance began in executive search and staffing—helping companies build high-performing finance teams. But as our clients’ needs evolved, so did we. Today, we’re a consulting firm that partners with the Office of the CFO to lead high-impact initiatives across accounting, finance, business systems, and technology.
Our team includes 100+ experienced consultants—former Big 4 professionals and industry experts—who deliver hands-on execution and strategic insight for everything from M&A and technical accounting to finance transformation and system implementations. And while our consulting capabilities are at the core of what we do, we remain committed to offering top-tier interim staffing and executive search solutions to support your full talent lifecycle.
We believe how we work is just as important as what we deliver. Recognized as one of the best places to work, our culture is rooted in excellence, energy, and a deep dedication to helping our clients succeed.
